YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT LEGAL PROCEEDINGS ARE INHERENTLY UNCERTAIN AND THAT WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES ABOUT OUTCOMES.

NO LIABILITY FOR AI ERRORS: WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES IN AI-GENERATED CONTENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCORRECT LEGAL CITATIONS, MISSTATEMENTS OF LAW, OR FACTUAL ERRORS. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH RELYING ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COURTDOCS.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

DAMAGE CAP: IN NO EVENT SHALL COURTDOCS.IO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COURTDOCS.IO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD). THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT: YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND COURTDOCS.IO, AND THAT COURTDOCS.IO WOULD NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE WITHOUT THIS LIMITATION.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CourtDocs.io and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service or any documents generated through the Service
  • Any document you file with any court, tribunal, or government agency
  • Any adverse legal outcomes, court sanctions, or judgments against you
  • Your failure to verify legal citations or content accuracy before filing
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your violation of any third party's rights
  • Any claim that documents you filed using our Service caused harm to any third party

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
